Check out previous years reviews, we are only 1 of 2 races that are at 100% positive satisfaction
Race Kits – All runners receive a race kit with lots of runner swag.
Race day Registration - It is available. Cash only. Please get there early as it is very busy with kit pick up as well.

Washrooms/Showers – We have full use of Pine Ridge High School. The School is at the start/finish line. Lots of washrooms. Showers are also available for our use. There are washrooms at Forestream Aid station (7.5K) and Whitevale Aid station (12.5K) on the course.
First Aid - There are trained emergency medical responders on course, and at start/finish line.
Water Crossing - The water crossing is about 2.5K from the start and 2.5K from the finish. All runners cross it twice. 50K runners cross it four times. It is about a 20 metre crossing. Most runners just run through with their shoes and socks on. Pickering Fire Dept. personnel are at the water crossing and have a rope installed across the water crossing. You can grab the rope for stability if you so chose. Water level is usually below the knees.
Course Restrictions - Only registered runners and volunteers are permitted on the course. No animals. This is for safety and insurance purposes. Photos- Every runner will receive a link to their photos. This is no charge to each runner. Dave Robinet and his team from www.photosense.ca will be on course. Remember to smile for the camera.
Race Etiquette – Most of the race is on single track. If passing someone, please let them know by shouting out ‘on your left’. Also, headphones are discouraged because of this. Enjoy the scenery, and the camaraderie of your fellow trail runners.
Aid Stations - There are 4 Aid Stations. Start/Finish line. Dog Park at 3K. Forestream at 7.5K. Whitevale at 12.5K. Seaton Soaker is an ‘out and back’ course, so runners also hit these Aid Stations on their way back. All Aid Stations are well stocked with Electrolyte Hydration, gels, sandwiches, pretzels, gummies, chips etc. Lots of opportunity to graze at the stations......
Awards – Seaton Soaker is part of the OUTRACE series. We therefore use the age groups from the series. Under 40, 40-49, Over 50. Overall winners, and Age Group winners will receive a prize. All finishers will receive a medal.
